For some pictures I need a few days. I put layers over layers and the painting needs to dry in between.

Die Suche nach dem richtigen Platz zum Leben hat mich auf eine Reise in ferne Länder, zu interessanten Kulturen und atemberaubenden Landschaften geführt. 14 Monate bin ich mit offenen Augen und staunend durch die Welt gegangen. Meine „daily paintings“ / Tagesbilder „erzählen“ von meiner Reise, meiner Leidenschaft fürs Tanzen sowie Alltagseindrücken.
Eben von allem was mein Auge gestreift hat.
Von Eindrücken und Gefühlen, die lange warten
mussten ehe ich bereit war sie zu malen.
Ein Bericht über Edward B. Gordon, den ich sehr bewundere, hat mich begeistert und inspiriert, meine Reise im kleinen Format des „daily paintings“ umzusetzen. Wege entstehen dadurch,
dass man sie geht [Franz Kafka]. Heute beschreite ich einen neuen Weg.
Looking for the ideal place to live I found myself on a trip to faraway countries, to interesting cultures and breathtaking landscapes. For 14 months I had been wandering the remotest regions with open eyes, marvelling like a child and always curious to find out what might be awaiting me behind the next bend. My sketch pad was always on me, ready to hand. My daily paintings describe my journey, my passion for dancing as well as everyday impressions, basically everything that caught my eye. They visualise impressions and feelings that had to wait until I was prepared to paint them. A report about Edward B. Gordon, whom I deeply admire, fascinated me and inspired me to translate my journey into the small format of the daily painting. Ways develop when going them. [Franz Kafka] Today I want to walk a new path.
